玫瑰經: 歡喜五端(The Mysteries of the Rosary: The Joyful of Mysteries)
讀經一（審判者將王國和天下萬邦，賜給至高者的聖民。）
恭讀達尼爾先知書 7:15-27
我，達尼爾，心中憂愁，我所見的異象使我煩亂；我遂走近一位侍者，問他關於這一切事的實情；他便告訴了我，使我知道這些事的意義。他說：「這四個巨獸就是將在世界上興起的四個君王；但至高者的聖民要承受王國，永遠佔有，直至萬世萬代。」當時我又想知道有關那第四個獸的實情，因為它與眾不同，非常可怕，它的牙是鐵的，爪是銅的，吞噬咬碎，又把剩餘的用腳踐踏。我又想知道它頭上的那十隻角和後來生出的那隻角，即那隻使其他三隻角脫落的角，這角還有眼睛，有誇大的口，並且它的形狀比其餘的角都大。我觀看，看見這隻角正在與聖民交戰，竟戰勝了他們，直到萬古常存者降來，為至高者的聖民伸冤，於是期限到了，眾聖民便取得了王權。
那侍者告訴我說：「這第四個獸就是將在世界上興起的第四個國，她與其他各國不同，她要併吞、蹂躪且粉碎天下。至於那十隻角，即指將由此國而興起的十個君王；他們以後，將興起另一位君王，他與前者不同，他要制勝三個君王，他要說褻瀆至高者的話，企圖消滅至高者的聖民，擅自改變節慶和法律；聖民將被交在他手中，直到三段半時期；然後審判者要開庭，奪去他的統治權，將他永遠消滅，將王國的統治權和天下萬邦的尊威，賜給至高者的聖民：他的國是永遠的國，一切邦國都要服侍他，順從他。」——上主的話。

恭讀聖路加福音 21:34-36
那時候，耶穌對門徒說：「你們應當謹慎，免得你們的心因宴飲而沉醉，被人生的掛慮所困擾，以免那意想不到的日子臨於你們，因為那日子有如羅網，臨於全地面的一切居民。所以，你們應當時時醒寤祈禱，為使你們能逃脫即將發生的這一切事，並能立於人子之前。」——上主的話。
反省
耶穌將一連串災難預先告訴門徒，無非是要讓他們洞悉，面對即將來臨的日子，要醒寤、祈禱、堅守信仰，不要像一般人過著「今朝有酒今朝醉」的生活，因他們毫無災難臨近的意識。
對主再來的認識與態度，必然影響到我們整個生活形態。為此耶穌要求兩件事：不該做的事，和該做的事。不該做的事，是指我們當保持謹慎，避免被貪食、醉酒，及今生的憂慮麻痺心靈，不要渾渾噩噩地生活，以致忽略天主再來的先兆；該做的事，是要求我們保持醒寤，醒寤和祈禱是不能分開的。以天主的話來醒寤，以祈禱來抵抗誘惑。時時醒寤，常常祈求，當天主再來時，得以站立在祂面前。
你準備好自己迎接天主的再來嗎？醒寤，不是什麼都不做，而是時刻遵從天主的吩咐。當聖經講到「希望」的時候，有竭力工作的意思，因此我們一面要積極為天主努力工作，另一面要熱切地等待天主的再來。
實踐
人人都有一個通病，就是要等到有事發生時才會提高警覺，所以耶穌的勸勉對今天的我們很適切：「你們應當時時醒寤祈禱，為使你們能逃脫即將發生的這一切事，並能立於人子之前。」一方面我們要恆常祈禱，透過天主的話、與主相遇，檢討自己每天的生活，看看有甚麼地方需要改善；另一方面，要度一個「以基督的心為心」的生活，即「穿上基督」的生活：「現在已經是由睡夢中醒來的時辰了，因為我們的救恩，現今比我們當初信的時候更臨近了。黑夜深了，白日已近，所以我們該脫去黑暗的行為，佩戴光明的武器」（羅13:11-12）。

First reading Daniel 7:15-27
I, Daniel, was deeply disturbed and the visions that passed through my head alarmed me. So I approached one of those who were standing by and asked him to tell me the truth about all this. And in reply he revealed to me what these things meant. “These four great beasts are four kings who will rise from the earth. Those who are granted sovereignty are the saints of the Most High, and the kingdom will be theirs for ever, for ever and ever.” Then I asked to know the truth about the fourth beast, different from all the rest, very terrifying, with iron teeth and bronze claws, eating, crushing and trampling underfoot what remained; and the truth about the ten horns on its head – and why the other horn sprouted and the three original horns fell, and why this horn had eyes and a mouth that was full of boasts, and why it made a greater show than the other horns. This was the horn I had watched making war on the saints and proving the stronger, until the coming of the one of great age who gave judgement in favour of the saints of the Most High, when the time came for the saints to take over the kingdom. This is what he said: ‘The fourth beast is to be a fourth kingdom on earth, different from all other kingdoms. It will devour the whole earth, trample it underfoot and crush it. As for the ten horns: from this kingdom will rise ten kings, and another after them; this one will be different from the previous ones and will bring down three kings; he is going to speak words against the Most High, and harass the saints of the Most High. He will consider changing seasons and the Law, and the saints will be put into his power for a time, two times, and half a time. But a court will be held and his power will be stripped from him, consumed, and utterly destroyed. And sovereignty and kingship, and the splendours of all the kingdoms under heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Most High. His sovereignty is an eternal sovereignty and every empire will serve and obey him.’

11.27 (六) 不宴飲沈醉 惜生日 路加福音廿一34-36
聆聽聖言
那時候，耶穌向門徒們說：「你們應當謹慎，免得你們的心為宴飲沈醉，及人生的掛慮所累時，那意想不到的日子臨於你們，因為那日子有如羅網，臨於全地面的一切居民。所以你們應當時時醒寤祈禱，為使你們能逃脫即將發生的這一切事，並能立於人子之前。」

在今天的福音中，耶穌向門徒說：「你們應當謹慎，免得你們的心為宴飲沈醉，及人生的掛慮所累時，那意想不到的日子臨於你們。」談到末日，耶穌再度來臨的日子，你的心有什麽感覺？是焦慮恐懼？還是無感？或是充滿期待？爲什麽呢？無論我們如何想像末日，可以肯定的是沒有人希望想在那一天，或在生命結束一刻有諸多遺憾：該做的事沒有做、該説的話沒有説、該放下的事沒放下。在今天的福音中，耶穌特別提醒我們在我們還有一點時間的時候，不要讓心為宴飲沈醉。談到宴飲，我們想到喜宴、想到歡樂、想到享受。多時，這正是人們所尋求的生活—不要有麻煩、不要太認真、只要喜歡、舒服、快樂的生活。這就是爲什麽愈來愈多人遇到生命中的重大決定、遇到需要付出較大的代價才能實現的目標、遇到誠實面對自己的不舒服感，就會選擇逃避，沉醉在酒、電玩、吃喝玩樂中。而且有時人們花錢看心理醫師、上自我認識的課程、參加祈禱會，尋求的也不過是一個情緒的紓解，完了以後，他們的生命不一定有改變、不一定更醒悟。不管是上述什麼狀況，要記得，我們最終都要站在人子面前，爲自己的生命老老實實的做出交代，徵求進入永生的許可。人子是否會看到你的謹慎努力？還是你膚淺、宴飲沈醉的人生？

今天要有意識地選擇天主，別總開著宴飲沈醉的模式，無意識的過生活。
