讀經一（羔羊已被宰殺，用他的血從各邦國中把人贖了回來。）
恭讀默示錄 5:1-10
我、若望，看見在那坐於寶座者的右手上有一書卷，內外都寫著字，用七個印密封著。我又看見一位強而有力的天使大聲宣佈：「誰當得起展開這書卷，開啟它的印呢？」但不論在天上、地上、或地下，沒有一個能展開那書卷的，沒有能閱讀它的。我就大哭起來，因為沒有找著一位當得起展開那書卷和閱讀它的。長老中有一位對我說：「不要哭！看，那出於猶大支派中的獅子，達味的苗裔已得了勝利，他能展開那書卷和開啟那七個印。」
我就看見在寶座和四個活物中間，並在長老中間，站著一隻羔羊，好像被宰殺過的，他有七個角和七隻眼：那眼睛就是被派往全地的天主的七神。他於是前來，從坐在寶座上的那位右手中接了那書卷。當他接過那書卷的時候，那四個活物和那二十四位長老，都俯伏在羔羊前，各拿著弦琴和盛滿了香料的金盂——這香料即是眾聖徒的祈禱，並唱新歌說：「惟有你當得起接受那書卷和開啟它的印，因為你曾被宰殺，曾用你的血，從各支派、各語言、各民族、各邦國中，把人贖回來歸於天主，並使他們成為國度和司祭，事奉我們的天主；他們必要為王，統治世界。」——上主的話。

恭讀聖路加福音 19:41-44
耶穌臨近耶路撒冷的時候，望見京城，便為她哀哭說：「恨不得在這一天，你也知道有關你平安的事；但這事如今在你眼前是隱藏的。的確，日子將臨於你。你的仇敵要在你四周築起壁壘，包圍你，四面圍困你；又要消滅你，及在你城牆內的子民；在你內決不留一塊石頭在另一塊石頭上，因為你沒有認出天主眷顧你的時機。」——上主的話。
釋義
路加在耶穌「榮進聖城」和「清潔聖殿」兩段敘述中，插入了耶穌哀哭耶路撒冷的報導。奇蹟的時期已經結束（參閱：路十九37）。耶路撒冷的司祭長和經師拒絕接受耶穌，因此主的光榮不會在此城中升起。和平的日子就這樣白白溜走，現在降臨在耶路撒冷的就只有戰爭與審判的日子了。在天主的計畫中，以色列民族得到了偉大的揀選，但是他們必須持續地服從天主，這個揀選才得以完全實現。忠實遵守法律不能取代信仰天主啟示的必要性；不幸的是，忠實於法律甚至可能使人失去相信天主的能力。猶太民族的歷史是每一世代的基督教會的鏡子，促使基督徒不斷地重新反省：自己是否真的認出這個蒙眷顧（恩寵）的時期，並因而不斷地悔改。每一個時代都是恩寵的時刻，因此也同時是審判的時刻。
Thursday of the Thirty-Third Week in Ordinary Time Lectionary: 500 Reading 1 RV 5:1-10
I, John, saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who sat on the throne. It had writing on both sides and was sealed with seven seals. Then I saw a mighty angel who proclaimed in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and break its seals?” But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or to examine it. I shed many tears because no one was found worthy to open the scroll or to examine it. One of the elders said to me, “Do not weep. The lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has triumphed, enabling him to open the scroll with its seven seals.” Then I saw standing in the midst of the throne and the four living creatures and the elders a Lamb that seemed to have been slain. He had seven horns and seven eyes; these are the seven spirits of God sent out into the whole world. He came and received the scroll from the right hand of the one who sat on the throne. When he took it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of the elders held a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones. They sang a new hymn: “Worthy are you to receive the scroll and break open its seals, for you were slain and with your Blood you purchased for God those from every tribe and tongue, people and nation. You made them a kingdom and priests for our God, and they will reign on earth.”

Gospel LK 19:41-44
As Jesus drew near Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, “If this day you only knew what makes for peace– but now it is hidden from your eyes. For the days are coming upon you when your enemies will raise a palisade against you; they will encircle you and hem you in on all sides. They will smash you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave one stone upon another within you because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

11.19（四）平安是什麼 路加福音十九41-44
耶穌臨近耶路撒冷的時候，望見京城，便哀哭她說： 「恨不能在這一天，妳也知道有關妳平安的事；但這事如今在妳眼前是隱藏的。的確，日子將臨於妳，妳的仇敵要在妳四周築起壁壘，包圍妳，四面窘困妳；又要蕩平妳，及在妳內的子民，在妳內決不留一塊石頭在另一塊石頭上，因為妳沒有認識眷顧妳的時期。」

「恨不能在這一天，妳也知道有關妳平安的事」平安對你是什麼？
我們從小就被灌輸平安就是沒有衝突。當別人的觀念、價值觀和想法與我們相同時，我們就有平安。反之，就是不平安。因此，爲了保持這個「平安」，我們盡可能避免衝突，以至于我們不會以健康的方式表達我們的不同，卻把它們掩蓋、壓抑。然而，我們都知道這樣的平安並不能維持很久。因爲當我們沒有用愛和真誠與對方進行溝通的時，壓抑在心頭的想法容易變成判斷、讓負面的情緒産生，最後就會引起衝突。
在今天的福音中，耶穌爲耶路撒冷哀哭，因爲猶太人以爲他們知道什麼是平安。他們期待默西亞來拯救他們的日子，但卻沒有意識到耶穌就是他們生命中的救主。
同樣，耶穌看著我們以不健康的方式維持平安，卻因此受傷，帶來分裂，祂也爲我們哀哭。耶穌可以教導我們如何締造真正的平安，但是，我們卻沒有意識到可以問祂。我們用不健康的方式維持平安，但這些方式就像仇敵在我們的四周築起壁壘，包圍我們，不讓天主的真正的平安進入我們的關係中。美國前總統，雷根曾説過：「和平不是沒有衝突，而是通過和平手段解决衝突的能力。」
耶穌要賜給我們真正的平安。這種平安不只是把人與人之間的不同隱藏或消滅，而是學會將耶穌帶入我們的關係中，讓祂告訴我們如何健康的面對人與人間的不一樣。

11月19日 積極等候
等候是屬靈生命的必備條件。然而，身為耶穌的門徒，等候必不落空。這是心存應許的等候，而這樣的等候可以讓我們看見所等候的。我們等候耶穌降生、聖神降臨，如今則要等候耶穌在榮耀中降臨。我們總是在等，然而我們已經看見天主的足跡，所以是滿有信心地等候。
等候天主是積極、儆醒，並且喜樂等候。我們知道是在等候天主，所以在等候之際，準備好的人共聚形成一個群體，迎接天主的再來。~ 盧雲神父
