那時,雅各伯叫了他的兒子來,說:「兒子!你們集合靜聽,靜聽你們父親以色列的話:猶大!你將受你兄弟的讚揚;你的手必壓在你仇敵的頸上;你父親的兒子要向你俯首致敬。猶大是隻幼獅;我兒,你獵取食物後上來,屈身伏臥,有如雄獅,又如母獅,誰敢驚動?權杖不離猶大,柄杖不離他腳間,直到那應得權杖者來到,萬民都要歸順他。」——上主的話。

【答】:在他的歲月中,正義必要興盛,到處國泰民安。

領:天主,求你給君王傳授你的權柄,求你給太子傳授你的公正。使他照正義統治你的百姓,使他按公道管理你的平民。【答】

釋義

雅各伯在去世前,一一祝福了他的十二個兒子,也就是以色列十二支派的祖先。從整個祝福看來(創四九1-28),猶大和若瑟特別受到偏愛。今天的讀經是雅各伯對第四個兒子猶大的祝福。這個祝福同時也是一個預言。猶大支派面對敵人時,將成為強大有力的,因此他也要受到其他支派的尊敬。猶大將要得到「權杖」,也就是王國,而且將永不失去,「直到那應得權杖者來到」。由此可知,這裡所指的應該不是達味,因為他立於王國的開端,而並非王國的終極目標。這裡指出一位隱藏著的,後來將要出自達味家族的君王。他的統治將帶來真正的和平與樂園般的富足。在猶太傳統中,很早就把這段祝福理解為指向默西亞的預言。

The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. Abraham became the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers. Judah became the father of Perez and Zerah, whose mother was Tamar. Perez became the father of Hezron, Hezron the father of Ram, Ram the father of Amminadab. Amminadab became the father of Nahshon, Nahshon the father of Salmon, Salmon the father of Boaz, whose mother was Rahab. Boaz became the father of Obed, whose mother was Ruth. Obed became the father of Jesse, Jesse the father of David the king. David became the father of Solomon, whose mother had been the wife of Uriah. 12月17日聖人 聖婦奧林比亞(St. Olympias)https://www.facebook.com/BonfireWorld/posts/2947208585501899

聖婦奧林比亞原籍君士坦丁堡,三六一年出生,家道富有。自幼父母雙亡,由叔父普高波總督撫養成人。叔父委托戴多撒夫人照管奧林比亞,戴多撒夫人是一位賢德的婦女,教導奧林比亞修德行善,敬主愛人。

奧林比亞繼承了一筆數目可觀的遺產,才貌雙全。丈夫尼弟培曾任君士坦丁堡總督,聖額我略和奧林比亞的家庭原是世交,他因年老多病,未能參加婚禮,賦詩道賀;勉勵新郎新娘建立模範的教友家庭。

婚後不久,尼弟培患病不治逝世。許多富家公子都來求婚,皇帝給奧林比亞做媒,要將她許配給一個親戚。奧林比亞堅決拒絕道:「假如天主要我做有夫之婦的話,他不會收去尼弟培的靈魂了。」

皇帝採用強硬手段,將聖婦的財產扣押,遣派本城總督為監護人,負責保管,待她滿三十歲,發還自己執管。

總督濫用監護人的權力,甚至禁止奧林比亞到聖堂去。聖婦寫了一封信給皇帝提出抗議,皇帝讀了那封信,自知理虧,就將聖婦的財產發還。

三九一年起,奧林比亞和若干熱心女子,同住在一所大屋修德敬主。她穿的衣服,異常樸素,家具簡單,樂善好施,有求必應。聖金口若望有時不得不叮囑她。做善舉固然是好,但應當謹慎。真正的窮人應當救濟,否則無異助長懶惰的惡習。

三九八年起,金口若望任君士坦丁堡主教,輔導奧林比亞修煉聖德。

奧林比亞在各地廣行善舉,在君士坦丁堡設立了收容所和醫院各一座。

聖安斐洛巨、聖愛比法紐、聖伯多祿山巴德及聖額我略,對於奧林比亞的聖德,莫不齊聲稱讚。

四O四年,聖金口若望發配充軍,他熟識的人均遭株連。聖婦奧林比亞被傳召往公庭審訊,忠貞不屈,數月後,被迫繳納一筆巨額的罰金,發配充軍。她領導的貞女節婦團體也被解散,苦難紛至。聖金口若望從容地寫了許多封信安慰她道:「你在苦難中應當喜樂,因為苦難越大,將來天國的賞報也越大。你所受的病痛,你常常被人冤枉、侮辱,終日以淚洗面,這一切都是你修德立功的機會。你應當發揮忍耐的精神,對迫害者表示仁愛和寬大,天主一定要重賞你。」

聖婦奧林比亞於四O八年七月廿五日在尼閣睦德逝世,當時還不滿五十歲,遺體迎回君士坦丁堡安葬。

現在心理學的專家都希望人是從原生家庭來認識自己。我們都被家人深深地影響;據說在我們六歲以前的經驗已經形成了今天的我們,就是說,我們小時候如何被大人對待也會形成對自己的自我認識、自我接納和自我發揮。

你認識你自己嗎?還是在無形中還是在背負你原生家庭的種種的價值觀、行為模式、偏見等?

今日的福音敘述主耶穌基督的族譜。當時候唸福音的人一聽到這些耳熟的名字都會聯想到一些偉人,也會想起一些罪人,一些令人羞愧的事情。耶穌一點也不隱瞞自己的過去,而是完全接納長輩們的善和惡、符合期待和不符合期待的作為。

有時候,我們很大的痛苦來自於沒有辦法接納自己的過去;小時候,有人會羨慕同學的父母,同學有的豐富物質,也同樣的會看輕自己的家庭和家人。然而,長大後,接觸了天主對你個別的愛之後,是否能原諒家人呢?

是否能接納自己過去的不完美?

如果主的愛在你裡面有足夠的力量,你的過去就成了今天的踏腳石,也成了你展望未來的靠山。天主既然在我不完美的過去都給我足夠的恩寵生存、成長、強壯起來,那祂更不會善良地對待現今和未來的我嗎?

這人開始學會感恩,學會在實際的狀況下活出更完美的自己,不嫉妒,也不比較,因為他學會接納最真實的自己了。

12月17日   第二次死 
地獄是第二次死,這是默示錄說的(參21:8)。有永生,也就有永死。永生是第二次的生命,永死是第二次的死。第一次的死不僅通往永活,也通往永死。 
視地獄為第二次的死,可以消除屢見不鮮的中世紀文學與藝術中,永遠受痛苦折磨的意象,並且視地獄為拒絕生命而不是受罰的地方。其實,默示錄說,選擇死亡是引往永死的下場:殺人、淫亂、行協術、背信等(參默21:8)。播種死亡,收成的也是死亡;播種生命,收成的也是生命,結局是我們撒的種。~ 盧雲神父
