讀經一（我將我所造的人由地面上消滅。）
恭讀創世紀 6:5-8;7:1-5,10
上主見人在地上的罪惡重大，人心天天所思念的無非是邪惡；上主遂後悔在地上造了人，心中很是悲痛。上主於是說：「我要將我所造的人，連人帶野獸、爬蟲和天空的飛鳥，都由地面上消滅，因為我後悔造了他們。」惟有諾厄在上主眼中蒙受恩愛。
上主對諾厄說：「你和你全家進入方舟，因為在這一世代，我看只有你在我面前正義。由一切潔淨牲畜中，各取公母七對；由那些不潔淨的牲畜中，各取公母一對；由天空的飛鳥中，也各取公母七對；好在全地面上傳種。因為還有七天，我要在地上降雨四十天四十夜，消滅我在地面上所造的一切生物。」諾厄全照上主吩咐他的做了。七天一過，洪水就在地上氾濫。——上主的話。

【答】：上主必以平安降福他的人民。
領：天主的眾子，請讚美上主，請將主名的榮耀，歸於上主，穿上聖潔的華服，朝拜上主。【答】

恭讀聖馬爾谷福音 8:14-21
那時候，門徒忘了帶餅，在船上除了一個餅外，隨身沒有帶別的食物。耶穌囑咐他們說：「你們應當謹慎，提防法利塞人的酵母和黑落德的酵母。」他們彼此議論：他們沒有餅了。耶穌看出來了，就對他們說：「為什麼你們議論沒有餅了？你們還不明白，還不瞭解嗎？你們的心仍然遲鈍嗎？你們有眼看不見，有耳聽不見嗎？你們不記得：當我曾擘開五個餅給五千人的時候，你們收滿了幾筐碎塊？」他們回答說：「十二筐。」「還有，七個餅給四千人的時候，你們收滿了幾籃碎塊？」他們回答說：「七籃。」於是耶穌對他們說：「你們還不瞭解嗎？」——上主的話。
反省
耶穌反問門徒們「你們還不明白嗎？」門徒們的思緒仍停留在「餅」上，因為他們與耶穌不在同一個的思考層面。諾厄時代人性敗壞，天主後悔造了人，且立意消滅人類。諾厄蒙召建造方舟，其他人可能看他和他的家人為異類，與常人格格不入，因為他們未能察覺諾厄的異樣帶有「先知性」的警告，未能從夢中醒來，反而繼續其敗壞的生活。我們也曾經歷了很多事，也該明白誰是我們真正的依靠和平安。天主要求我們在這時空中警醒，做福音的酵母，酵母雖然微小，但若相信天主的能力，我們定會看到滿溢的恩寵。（「我靈讚頌主 iBreviarium」── 樂仁出版社供稿）

When the LORD saw how great was man’s wickedness on earth, and how no desire that his heart conceived was ever anything but evil, he regretted that he had made man on the earth, and his heart was grieved. So the LORD said: “I will wipe out from the earth the men whom I have created, and not only the men, but also the beasts and the creeping things and the birds of the air, for I am sorry that I made them.” But Noah found favor with the LORD. Then the LORD said to Noah: “Go into the ark, you and all your household, for you alone in this age have I found to be truly just. Of every clean animal, take with you seven pairs, a male and its mate; and of the unclean animals, one pair, a male and its mate; likewise, of every clean bird of the air, seven pairs, a male and a female, and of all the unclean birds, one pair, a male and a female. Thus you will keep their issue alive over all the earth. Seven days from now I will bring rain down on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and so I will wipe out from the surface of the earth every moving creature that I have made.” Noah did just as the LORD had commanded him. As soon as the seven days were over, the waters of the flood came upon the earth.

The disciples had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat. Jesus enjoined them, “Watch out, guard against the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod.” They concluded among themselves that it was because they had no bread. When he became aware of this he said to them, “Why do you conclude that it is because you have no bread? Do you not yet understand or comprehend? Are your hearts hardened? Do you have eyes and not see, ears and not hear? And do you not remember, when I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many wicker baskets full of fragments you picked up?” They answered him, “Twelve.” “When I broke the seven loaves for the four thousand, how many full baskets of fragments did you pick up?” They answered him, “Seven.” He said to them, “Do you still not understand?”

根據羅馬殉道烈士傳的記載，聖女儒利亞納是一位貞女和殉道者。她因維護信德，並拒絕與政府官長愛維拉蘇結婚，遭其父鞭撻，並為愛維拉蘇毒刑拷打。魔鬼矯飾天使，打算勸誘她順從父意出嫁，聖女嚴詞拒絕（故中古時代的畫像，常描寫聖女正在用繩或鐵鏈綑束有雙翼的魔鬼）。

02.16 (二) 依賴天主 馬爾谷福音八14-21
聆聽聖言
那時候，門徒忘了帶餅，在船上除了一個餅外，隨身沒有帶別的食物。耶穌囑咐他們說：「你們應當謹慎，提防法利塞人的酵母和黑落德的酵母。」
他們彼此議論：他們沒有餅了。耶穌看出來了，就對他們說：「為什麼你們議論沒有餅了？你們還不明白，還不瞭解嗎？你們的心仍然遲鈍嗎？你們有眼看不見，有耳聽不見嗎？你們不記得：當我擘開五個餅給五千人的時候，你們收滿了幾筐碎塊？」
他們回答說：「十二筐。」「還有，七個餅給四千人的時候，你們收滿了幾籃碎塊？」他們回答說：「七籃。」
於是耶穌對他們說：「你們還不瞭解嗎？」
釋經小幫手
我們對天主的印象是什麽呢？在今天的福音中，門徒忘了帶餅，聽到了耶穌所說的一句話，就開始困惑。他們似乎把耶穌當法官一樣看待。那我們呢？我們怎麽看耶穌，怎麼看天主呢？當我們不認爲天主對我有善意，我們就會對祂的每一句話有疑心，也因此不必要時，少點接近，多點依靠自己的能力和所認識的來安排自己的生活。這種「依靠自己」就是耶穌所說的「利塞人和黑落德的酵母」——這樣的心態雖然不明顯，但卻會潛移默化，到最後影響我們的生活，也會把我們和天主之間的距離越拉越遠。首先，讓我們意識到自己很像福音中的門徒一樣，對耶穌一知半解，讓我們渴望更認識祂，對祂和祂的言行有好奇心。接著，讓我們求主給予恩寵品嚐天主對我們的愛。這份愛超越五官，但對一個願意啟發信德的人，這份愛就在眼前。最後，學會感恩，看到天主美善的一面。在忙碌中，不要忘了祂的愛和祝福。在一天的結束後，可以回顧「我在那裡找到生命力？」，進而發現，那一天的勇氣、力量、安慰、平安等都是來自主的禮物，而我們每天都收到天主白白分享的愛。祂是多麼慷慨！回顧這些會讓人發現自己是多麽被愛啊！品嚐了天主的愛，我們才能更認識祂，而會甘願以一個純潔的愛去愛祂。這樣，我們才愈來愈像在祭壇上的餅——沒有受酵母影響的，而無條件地回應天主。

親愛的聖神，求祢幫助我打開信德之眼，看見天主今天賜給我的愛。

黑暗中的光明
我們行在「死蔭的幽谷」，但是不懼怕，因為神在我們這一邊；神的杖與竿都安慰我們。這不僅是令人得安慰的念頭，也是我們可以信得過、發自内心的經歷。
生命充滿了苦難、痛苦、幻滅、損失、哀傷，但是也帶著榮耀的異象：「閃電從東邊發出，直照到西邊，人子降臨也要這樣。」在這些時刻，我們清楚看見、聽見，也深深感受到神在旅途中與我們同行，讓我們成為黑暗中照耀的光。
耶穌說：「你們是世上的光 … 照在人前，叫他們看見你們的好行為，便將榮耀歸給你們在天上的父。」~ 盧雲神父
