讀經一(宗徒高興地出來,因為他們配為耶穌的名字受污辱。)
恭讀宗徒大事錄 5:34-42
有一個法利塞人,名叫加瑪里耳,是眾百姓敬重的法學士,他在公議會中站起來,命宗徒們暫時出去。他便向議員們說:「諸位以色列人!你們對這些人,應小心處理!因為在不久以前,特烏達起來,說自己是個大人物,附和他的人數約有四百;他被殺了,跟從他的人也都散了,歸於烏有。此後,加里肋亞人猶達,當戶口登記的日子,起來引誘百姓隨從他;他喪亡了,跟從他的人也都四散了。對現今的事我奉勸你們:不要管這些人,由他們去吧!因為若這計劃或工作是由人來的,必要消散;但若是從天主來的,你們不但不能消滅他們,恐怕你們反而成了與天主作對的人。」他們都贊成他的意見。
他們遂把宗徒們叫來,鞭打了以後,命他們不可再因耶穌的名字講道,遂釋放了他們。他們喜喜歡歡地由公議會前出來,因為他們配為這名字受侮辱。他們每天不斷在聖殿內,或挨戶施教,宣講基督耶穌的福音。——上主的話。

那時候,耶穌往加里肋亞海,即提庇黎雅海的對岸去了。大批群眾,因為看見他在患病者身上所行的神蹟,都跟隨著他。耶穌上了山,和他的門徒一起坐在那裏。那時,猶太人的慶節,即逾越節,已臨近了。耶穌舉目看見大批群眾來到他前,就對斐理伯說:「你們從那裏買餅給這些人吃呢?」他說這話,是為試探斐理伯;他自己原知道要作什麼。斐理伯回答說:「就是二百塊『德納』的餅,也不夠每人分得一小塊。」有一個門徒,即西滿伯多祿的哥哥安德肋說:「這裏有一個兒童,他有五個大餅和兩條魚;但是為這麼多的人這算得什麼?」耶穌說:「你們叫眾人坐下吧!」在那地方有很多青草,於是人們便坐下,男人約有五千。耶穌就拿起餅,祝謝後,分給坐下的人;對於魚也照樣作了;讓眾人任意吃。他們吃飽以後,耶穌向門徒說:「把剩下的碎塊收集起來,免得糟蹋了。」他們就把人吃後所剩下的五個大麥餅的碎塊,收集起來,裝滿了十二筐。眾人見了耶穌所行的神蹟,就說:「這人確是那要來到世界上的先知。」耶穌看出他們要來強迫他,立他為王,就獨自又退避到山裏去了。——上主的話。
反省
當主耶穌以五餅二魚飽飫五千人之後,眾人便把世俗的寄望放到耶穌身上,開始推舉祂為王。他們這樣做,更像是把耶穌當成一個實現個人野心的工具,或滿全自己慾望的僕人。主耶穌只好退避到山裡,表達對此的拒絕。
有時候,奇蹟並不能激發感恩,反倒會激起貪婪。天主拒絕我們的某些要求,為的是避免我們只關心地上的事,不關心救恩和永生。我們在生命中領受過天主多少恩典?我們是用悔改和愛的順服回應,還是只把信仰當作應急避難的工具?(「我靈讚頌主 iBreviarium」── 樂仁出版社供稿)

A Pharisee in the Sanhedrin named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, respected by all the people, stood up, ordered the Apostles to be put outside for a short time, and said to the Sanhedrin, “Fellow children of Israel, be careful what you are about to do to these men. Some time ago, Theudas appeared, claiming to be someone important, and about four hundred men joined him, but he was killed, and all those who were loyal to him were disbanded and came to nothing. After him came Judas the Galilean at the time of the census. He also drew people after him, but he too perished and all who were loyal to him were scattered. So now I tell you, have nothing to do with these men, and let them go. For if this endeavor or this activity is of human origin, it will destroy itself. But if it comes from God, you will not be able to destroy them; you may even find yourselves fighting against God.” They were persuaded by him. After recalling the Apostles, they had them flogged, ordered them to stop speaking in the name of Jesus, and dismissed them. So they left the presence of the Sanhedrin, rejoicing that they had been found worthy to suffer dishonor for the sake of the name. And all day long, both at the temple and in their homes, they did not stop teaching and proclaiming the Christ, Jesus.

Gospel Jn 6:1-15
Jesus went across the Sea of Galilee. A large crowd followed him, because they saw the signs he was performing on the sick. Jesus went up on the mountain, and there he sat down with his disciples. The Jewish feast of Passover was near. When Jesus raised his eyes and saw that a large crowd was coming to him, he said to Philip, “Where can we buy enough food for them to eat?” He said this to test him, because he himself knew what he was going to do. Philip answered him, “Two hundred days’ wages worth of food would not be enough for each of them to have a little.” One of his disciples, Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter, said to him, “There is a boy here who has five barley loaves and two fish; but what good are these for so many?” Jesus said, “Have the people recline.” Now there was a great deal of grass in that place. So the men reclined, about five thousand in number. Then Jesus took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed them to those who were reclining, and also as much of the fish as they wanted. When they had had their fill, he said to his disciples, “Gather the fragments left over, so that nothing will be wasted.” So they collected them, and filled twelve wicker baskets with fragments from the five barley loaves that had been more than they could eat. When the people saw the sign he had done, they said, “This is truly the Prophet, the one who is to come into the world.” Since Jesus knew that they were going to come and carry him off to make him king, he withdrew again to the mountain alone.

聖伯爾納德於一八四四年一月七日出生,弟兄姐妹共六人,伯爾納德居長。父親原是經營磨坊的麵粉商,因營業失敗而使家道中落。伯爾納德的身體很衰弱,常發氣喘病。
一八五八年二月十一日,聖母瑪利亞第一次在露德向伯爾納德顯現,那時她只是一位十四歲的少女,還沒有初領聖體。
露德聖母顯現以後,伯爾納德成了新聞人物,常有人去訪問她,向她提出各種問題,要求她敘述聖母顯現的詳情,也有人請她轉禱。這些對於一位謙遜寡言的少女而言,確是一件難事。一八六一年起,伯爾納德住進修女病院。可是好奇的客人還是不肯放鬆,跑到病院來訪問。根據該院修女的記述:每次客人來訪,伯爾納德到了會客室門口,總是淚流滿面,踟躕不前。修女婉言安慰,勸她鼓起勇氣。她才擦乾眼淚,跑進會客室。無論來客提出的問題多麼囉嗦,伯爾納德都很耐心地一一答覆。
伯爾納德住在家裡,或住在病院的時期,來訪的客人有時拿些禮物或金錢送她,可是伯爾納德一律謝絕,她從不接受別人分文的施捨或禮品。
一八六O年,有一位本堂司鐸親自到露德訪問伯爾納德,事後他記述道:
「經過了兩個小時的訪問,我把聖母顯現的詳情問清楚了。臨行前,我拿出三個金幣想送給伯爾納德,可是她很嚴肅地拒絕了。我知道無法勉強,就向她索討她隨身帶著的那一串念珠。我說:『假如你肯送給我做紀念,我情願償還你一些錢,你可以再買一串。』她最初不肯,後來經不起我一再要求,就把那串念珠送給了我。這串念珠,就是當年聖母在岩洞顯現給她的時候,她念玫瑰經用的念珠。這件紀念物,實在太珍貴了!我想償還那串念珠的錢,「不。」她說,「我不要甚麼錢,我自己會買一串的。」
「我又想向她討一幅聖衣。她佩戴的聖衣是雙幅的,所以我就問她肯不肯割下一幅給我。她不肯。我說:你割下了一幅,你不是還有整整的一幅嗎?』伯爾納德說道:『我送給你的那串念珠,你肯不肯分裂為兩部分?』我說:『當然不可以。』伯爾納德接口道:『那麼,我的聖衣也不能分成兩分。』」
一八六四年,伯爾納德申請入南法女修院,由於她時常患病,到了兩年後(一八六六年)才入院修道。與家人離別,與露德聖母的岩洞離別,她入了修院一心修道,過去的事,一句也不提。有一天,一位修女對她提起露德的事,伯爾納德指著屋角的一把掃帚道:「我好似這把掃帚一樣。聖母在露德用了我,如今我的任務完畢,仍放在原處。我很高興,重新回到屋角來。」一八七六年,露德大堂落成,舉行隆重的慶禮,伯爾納德沒有出席參加。她已功成隱退了。
伯爾納德體弱多病,入修院後僅四個月就患了一場重病,領終傅聖事,並獲准發初願。她的病後來雖然痊癒,可氣喘仍時常發作,而且有時還加上別的病。
伯爾納德於一八七九年四月十六日逝世,享年三十五歲。一九二五年立真福品,一九三三年榮列聖品。她的遺體至今完好,栩栩如生,沒有腐壞,停放在納彎聖堂的玻璃祭台裡讓人瞻仰。

今天的福音中,我們看到一大群人跟隨耶穌,有五千個男人,加上老弱婦孺,數量多到驚人,他們聽完耶穌講道後便餓了,但沒有食物吃,只有一個孩童身上的五餅二魚。然而,耶穌卻沒有像安德勒一樣懷疑五個餅、兩條魚的價值:「為這麼多的人這算得什麼?」,反而祂拿起餅,感謝祝福了,然後分開、分享給所有的人,想不到剩下的食物有十二筐。
今天耶穌也邀請我們成為小朋友,大方、慷慨給予我們所擁有的,即使我們認為很少、很不足也沒關係,剩下的祂會幫忙我們。然而,在教會中,往往我們看到許多教友的反應是:我不敢,我不要,我不行。我們被完美主義所桎梏,認為自己不夠好、不夠格帶領主日學、慕道班、讀經班,不夠經驗陪伴小孩、青年,或是認為神父、修女比較厲害。然而,耶穌看到飢渴的人,召叫了我們。祂沒有要我們完美,只要我們全心全意的「我願意」,慷慨的給出我們所擁有的,剩下的祂和天父、聖神會幫忙。
福傳的工作不是靠我們自己的力量,而是靠天主聖三的恩寵。因此,當我們奉獻了我們的能力和資源後,剩下的就是為他們祈禱。祈禱讓天主帶領我們走下一步,祈禱自己不會被他人的流言蜚語所影響,不會被成功或失敗所限制動搖,因爲祈禱讓我們回到天主真正的旨意中。
今天,不管你有多少,你願意為天主給出自己的五餅兩魚嗎?

4月16日 落實的字句
屬靈閱讀是心靈食物。我們讓聖經或是優良的屬靈作品中的一字一句進入頭腦,然後沉溺於心中,我們就變得不一樣了。字句逐漸在我們裡面落實,溶入我們的生命。所以說,屬靈閱讀是屬天的話語在我們裡面不斷地化為血肉。很久以前,天主借著基督成為肉身。今天,借著閱讀,默想聖言,天主在我們裡面成為肉身,讓我們具有活像基督的生命。 所以,我們要不斷以愛慕與慎重的心閱讀天主的話語。~ 盧雲神父
