玫瑰經: 苦難五端( The Mysteries of the Rosary: Sorrowful Mysteries)

讀經一（基德紅，你去拯救以色列；看！我派遣了你。）

恭讀民長紀　6:11-24

那時，上主的使者來到，坐在敖弗辣的一棵屬於阿彼厄則爾人約阿士的篤耨樹下，當時他的兒子基德紅正在釀酒池裏打麥子，躲避米德楊人。上主的使者顯現給他，對他說：「英勇的壯士，願上主與你同在！」基德紅回答他說：「我主，請原諒！如果上主與我們同在，我們怎會遭遇這些困難？我祖先給我們所講過的那一切奇事，如今在那裏？他們曾向我們說過：看，是上主領我們出離埃及，但是現在上主拋棄了我們，將我們交在米德楊人的掌握中。」上主注視他說：「憑你這種力量，你去拯救以色列脫離米德楊人的掌握。看，是我派遣你。」他回答說：「我主，請原諒！我憑什麼拯救以色列？看，我家在默納協支派中是最卑微的，我在我父親家中又是最小的一個。」上主對他說：「有我與你同在，你必擊敗米德楊人，如同擊敗一個人一樣。」

基德紅又向上主說：「我若在你面前蒙恩，請你給我一個記號，證明與我說話的是你。請你不要離開此地，等我回到你這裏，帶來禮物，擺在你前。」他答應說：「我等你回來。」

基德紅就去預備了一隻小公山羊，又用一「厄法」麥粉作了無酵餅，把肉放在筐裏，把湯盛在罐裏，帶到篤耨樹下獻給上主。天主的使者對他說：「拿出肉和無酵餅來，放在這磐石上，把湯倒出來！」他就照樣作了。上主的使者遂伸出手中拿的棍杖，杖頭一觸及肉和無酵餅，磐石便起火，把肉和無酵餅吞噬了；上主的使者便從他眼前隱沒了。基德紅遂知道他是上主的使者，說：「哎呀！我主上主，我竟然面對面地看見上主的使者！」但上主對他說：「你放心！不必害怕，你不會死！」基德紅就在那裏給上主立了一座祭壇，稱為雅威沙隆，意即上主的平安。——上主的話。

答唱詠　詠85:9,11-l2,13-14

【答】：上主向自己子民所說的話，確是和平綸音。

領：我要聽天主上主說的話：他向自己的聖者和子民，以及向他回心轉意的人，所說的話確是和平綸音。【答】

領：仁愛和忠信必彼此相迎，正義與和平必彼此相親。忠信從地下生出，正義由天上遠矚。【答】

領：上主也必賜下康樂幸福；我們的地必有他的收獲。正義在上主前面行走，救恩必隨上主的腳步。【答】

眾：亞肋路亞。

領：耶穌基督本是富有的，為了你們卻變成了貧困的，好使你們因著他的貧困而成為富有的。

恭讀聖瑪竇福音　19:23-30

那時候，耶穌對門徒說：「我實在告訴你們：富人難進天國。我再告訴你們，駱駝穿過針孔，比富人進天國還容易。」門徒聽了，就非常驚異說：「這樣，誰還能得救呢？」耶穌注視他們說：「為人這是不可能的；但為天主，一切都是可能的。」

那時，伯多祿開口對他說：「看，我們捨棄了一切，跟隨了你；那麼，將來我們可得到什麼呢？」耶穌對他們說：「我實在告訴你們：你們這些跟隨我的人，在重生的世代，人子坐在自己光榮的寶座上時，你們也要坐在十二寶座上，審判以色列十二支派；並且，凡為我的名，捨棄了房屋、或兄弟、或姊妹、或父親、或母親、或妻子、或兒女、或田地的，必要領取百倍的賞報，並承受永生。有許多在先的要成為在後的，在後的要成為在先的。」——上主的話。

釋義

耶穌在「山中聖訓」中已經警告過財富的危險：追求財富直接相反於對天主的追求（瑪六24）。耶穌並不詛咒富人，而更願意拯救他們。「駱駝穿針孔」的圖像說明，富人得救極為困難，幾乎毫無可能。門徒們因此大為驚訝，這本是合理的反應。他們提出兩個問題。

首先，門徒們問：「這樣，誰還能得救呢？」（25）耶穌的回答說明：只有天主拯救的人，可以得救，窮人和富人沒有區別。但是，面對富人，天主也碰到「困難」。他們必須先承認自己面對救恩也是貧窮的，必須把自己交在天主手中。

其次，伯多祿發問：「將來我們可得到什麼呢？」（27）耶穌給予雙重的答覆：誰在貧窮、謙遜和死亡中跟隨耶穌，也將和祂一起進入未來的光榮中；誰若放棄一切，將要得到一切。只有經過死亡，才能獲得重生，世界才能更新。

First reading Judges 6:11-24

The angel of the Lord came and sat under the terebinth at Ophrah which belonged to Joash of Abiezer. Gideon his son was threshing wheat inside the winepress to keep it hidden from Midian, when the angel of the Lord appeared to him and said, ‘The Lord is with you, valiant warrior!’ Gideon answered him, ‘Forgive me, my lord, but if the Lord is with us, then why is it that all this is happening to us now? And where are all the wonders our ancestors tell us of when they say, “Did not the Lord bring us out of Egypt?” But now the Lord has deserted us; he has abandoned us to Midian.’ At this the Lord turned to him and said, ‘Go in the strength now upholding you, and you will rescue Israel from the power of Midian. Do I not send you myself?’ Gideon answered him, ‘Forgive me, my lord, but how can I deliver Israel? My clan, you must know, is the weakest in Manasseh and I am the least important in my family.’ The Lord answered him, ‘I will be with you and you shall crush Midian as though it were a single man.’ Gideon said to him, ‘If I have found favour in your sight, give me a sign that it is you who speak to me. I beg you, do not go away until I come back. I will bring you my offering and set it down before you.’ And he answered, ‘I will stay until you return.’ Gideon went away and prepared a young goat and made unleavened cakes with an ephah of flour. He put the meat into a basket and the broth into a pot, then brought it all to him under the terebinth. As he came near, the angel of the Lord said to him, ‘Take the meat and unleavened cakes, put them on this rock and pour the broth over them.’ Gideon did so. Then the angel of the Lord reached out the tip of the staff in his hand and touched the meat and unleavened cakes. Fire sprang from the rock and consumed the meat and unleavened cakes, and the angel of the Lord vanished before his eyes. Then Gideon knew this was the angel of the Lord, and he said, ‘Alas, my Lord! I have seen the angel of the Lord face to face!’ The Lord answered him, ‘Peace be with you; have no fear; you will not die.’ Gideon built an altar there to the Lord and called it The-Lord-is-Peace.

Responsorial Psalm Psalm 84(85):9,11-14

The Lord speaks peace to his people. I will hear what the Lord God has to say, a voice that speaks of peace, peace for his people and his friends and those who turn to him in their hearts.

The Lord speaks peace to his people. Mercy and faithfulness have met; justice and peace have embraced. Faithfulness shall spring from the earth and justice look down from heaven.

The Lord speaks peace to his people. The Lord will make us prosper and our earth shall yield its fruit. Justice shall march before him and peace shall follow his steps.

Gospel Matthew 19:23-30

Jesus said to his disciples, ‘I tell you solemnly, it will be hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Yes, I tell you again, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven.’ When the disciples heard this they were astonished. ‘Who can be saved, then?’ they said. Jesus gazed at them. ‘For men’ he told them ‘this is impossible; for God everything is possible.’ Then Peter spoke. ‘What about us?’ he said to him ‘We have left everything and followed you. What are we to have, then?’ Jesus said to him, ‘I tell you solemnly, when all is made new and the Son of Man sits on his throne of glory, you will yourselves sit on twelve thrones to judge the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has left houses, brothers, sisters, father, mother, children or land for the sake of my name will be repaid a hundred times over, and also inherit eternal life. ‘Many who are first will be last, and the last, first.’

聖瑪默是凱撒利亞人，牧羊為生，自幼熱心敬主。教難爆發，他赴曠野暫避，與野獸為伍，每天吃乳酪和蜂蜜。

瑪默被捕後，解往刑場，供野獸吞噬。不料那幾頭野獸是他舊日的故友，見了他搖頭擺尾，非常親熱。一頭獅子上前，舐他四肢。兵士上前，擬將他殺死，被獅子一口咬住，拖到瑪默的腳邊。瑪默揮手叫那頭獅子回到獸籠去，獅子依依不捨，含著淚退回去。

瑪默受了種種酷刑，流血致命，時在二七五年。

08.17 (二) 富人難進天國 瑪竇福音十九23-30

聆聽聖言

那時候，耶穌對門徒說：「我實在告訴你們：富人難進天國。我再告訴你們：駱駝穿過針孔，比富人進天國還容易。」
門徒們聽了，就非常驚異說：「這樣，誰還能得救呢？」
耶穌注視他們說：「為人這是不可能的；但為天主，一切都是可能的。」
那時，伯多祿開口對衪說：「看，我們捨棄了一切，跟隨了你；那麼，將來我們可得到什麼呢？」
耶穌對他們說：「我實在告訴你們，你們這些跟隨我的人，在重生的世代，人子坐在自己光榮的寶座上時，你們也要坐在十二寶座上，審判以色列十二支派；
並且，凡為我的名，捨棄了房屋，或兄弟、或姐妹、或父親、或母親、或妻子、或兒女、或田地的，必要領取百倍的賞報，並承受永生。
有許多在先的，要成為在後的；在後的，要成為在先的。」

今天主耶穌清楚的告訴我們：「富人難進天國。」你聽到這句話時，會不會很驚訝呢？在這世界上，有錢有權的人是第一個得到福利，有成就的人被別人看得起，誰擁有的多，誰比較安穩，這些都是我們從小聽到的價值觀，也是我們努力爭取的。但耶穌卻說：「富人難進天國。」然後好像怕門徒聽不到，再用一個誇大的比喻來說：「我再告訴你們：駱駝穿過針孔，比富人進天國還容易。」意思是一樣的—富人難進天國。你是富人嗎？你渴望當富人嗎？這裡的「富有」主要是指錢，但更廣義的也指所擁有的，例如愛舒服、不愛被人說、不愛分享、不愛付出、只想擁有自己的空間……等等。耶穌看著這些人雙手緊緊抓住這些東西，祂心中很疼惜他們，因為他們在乎的這些寶貝遲早會化成灰。握著拳頭、不願分享的富人容易忘記自己是誰，會認為他什麼都能做，因為他就是有這個能力，所以世界應該圍繞著他轉。富人也認為自己應享有特權，所以大家應該對他好一點、客氣一點。富人因為期待這些「應得」的福利，忘記了自己對社會的責任；其實，天主允許他成為富人，是要他照顧有需要的人。天主提醒說：「人在富貴中，不深思遠慮，將與牲畜無異」（詠四九21）。富人跟牲畜無異是因為靠肉慾的推動而生活，而忘記了他的創造者，也忘記了他是天主孩子的真身分。

全心祈禱

主耶穌，請淨化我，讓我所認為的寶與祢所肯定的愈來越相似。
