教會之母(紀念) 

讀經一(我要把仇恨,放在你的後裔,和她的後裔之間。)

恭讀創世紀 3:9-15, 20

亞當吃了知善惡樹的果子後,上主天主呼喚亞當,對他說:「你在那裡?」

亞當回答說:「我在樂園裡,聽到了你的聲音,就害怕,因為我赤身露體,便躲藏起來。」

天主說:「誰告訴了你,赤身露體?莫非你吃了我禁止你吃的果子嗎?」

亞當說:「是你給我作伴的那個女人,給了我那樹上的果子,我才吃了。」

上主天主於是對女人說:「你為什麼做了這事?」

女人回答說:「是蛇哄騙了我,我才吃了。」

上主天主對蛇說:「因你做了這事,你在一切畜牲和野獸中,是可咒罵的;你要用肚子爬行,畢生日日吃土。我要把仇恨放在你和女人,你的後裔,和她的後裔之間。她的後裔要踏碎你的頭顱;你要傷害他的腳跟。」

亞當給自己的妻子起名叫厄娃,因為她是眾生的母親。——上主的話。

讀經二(他們與耶穌的母親瑪利同心合意地專務祈禱。)

恭讀宗徒大事錄 1:12-14

耶穌被接升天後,門徒從名叫橄欖的山上,回到耶路撒冷,這山離耶路撒冷不遠,有一安息日的路程。

他們進了城,就上了那座他們所居住的樓房。在那裡有伯多祿、若望、雅各伯、安德肋、斐理伯、多默、巴爾多祿茂、瑪竇、阿耳斐的兒子雅各伯、熱誠者西滿及雅各伯的兄弟猶達。這些人同一些婦女,及耶穌的母親瑪利亞,並他的兄弟,都同心合意地專務祈禱。——上主的話。

答唱詠 詠87(86):1-2, 3 ,5, 6-7

【答】:天主之城!人們論及你,曾經說了許多光榮的事。(詠87(86) : 3)

領:上主喜愛自己的宮殿,它建築在一切聖山上;上主喜愛熙雍的城門,勝過雅各伯所有的帳棚。【答】

領:天主之城!人們論及你,曾經說了許多光榮的事。提到熙雍,人要稱她為母親,因為人人都在她那裡出生。【答】

領:至高者要確認;上主要在萬民戶籍上留名:「這些人也都是在她那裡出生。」人們載歌載舞,高唱:「你是我們的家鄉。」【答】

福音前歡呼

領:阿肋路亞。

答:阿肋路亞。

領:啊!榮福童貞瑪利亞,我們的主由你誕生!啊!教會的母親,願你聖子的聖神,灼熱我們的心!

恭讀聖若望福音 19:25-34

那時候,在耶穌的十字架旁,站著他的母親和他母親的姊妹,還有克羅帕的妻子瑪利亞和瑪利亞瑪達肋納。耶穌看見母親,又看見他所愛的門徒站在旁邊,就對母親說:「女人,看,你的兒子!」然後,又對那門徒說:「看,你的母親!」就從那時起,那門徒把她接到自己家裡。

此後,耶穌因知道一切事都完成了,為應驗經上的話,於是說:『我渴。』

有一個盛滿了醋的器皿,放在那裡,有人便將海綿浸滿了醋,綁在長槍上,送到他的口邊。耶穌一嘗了那醋,便說:「完成了。」就低下頭,交付了靈魂。

猶太人因那日子是預備日,免得安息日內──那安息日原是個大節日──屍首留在十字架上,就來請求比拉多,打斷他們的腿,把他們拿去。兵士於是前來,把第一個人的,並與耶穌同釘在十字架上的,第二個人的腿,打斷了。可是,及至來到耶穌面前,看見耶穌已經死了,就沒有打斷他的腿;但是,有一個士兵,用槍刺透了他的肋膀,立刻就流出了血和水。——上主的話。

反省

俗世間,人們常認為,某些事能否做成,一方面要看當事人有沒有能力,另一方面要看其能力有多大。福音中的這個富貴少年有能力守誡命,守家產,卻沒有能力承受永生。耶穌道出了「好風憑藉力,送我上青雲」的妙法:天主就是「好風」,唯有信靠天主,我們才有能力變得慷慨。承受永生,是許多人的夢想,可是我們是否有能力放下對世間財物的執著?是否真的渴望享受內心的自由,準備繼承天國的產業呢?靈修是一種能力, 需要與天主的恩寵合作,因為「在人不可能,但在天主卻不然,因為在天主一切都可能」。(「我靈讚頌主 iBreviarium」── 樂仁出版社供稿)

After Adam had eaten of the tree, the LORD God called to him and asked him, “Where are you?” He answered, “I heard you in the garden; but I was afraid, because I was naked, so I hid myself.” Then he asked, “Who told you that you were naked? You have eaten, then, from the tree of which I had forbidden you to eat!” The man replied, “The woman whom you put here with me— she gave me fruit from the tree, and so I ate it.” The LORD God then asked the woman, “Why did you do such a thing?” The woman answered, “The serpent tricked me into it, so I ate it.” Then the LORD God said to the serpent: “Because you have done this, you shall be banned from all the animals and from all the wild creatures; On your belly shall you crawl, and dirt shall you eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; He will strike at your head, while you strike at his heel.” The man called his wife Eve, because she became the mother of all the living.

After Jesus had been taken up to heaven, the Apostles returned to Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a sabbath day’s journey away. When they entered the city they went to the upper room where they were staying, Peter and John and James and Andrew, Philip and Thomas, Bartholomew and Matthew, James son of Alphaeus, Simon the Zealot, and Judas son of James. All these devoted themselves with one accord to prayer, together with some women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and his brothers.

Glorious things are told of you, O city of God. His foundation upon the holy mountains the LORD loves: The gates of Zion, more than any dwelling of Jacob.

Gospel Jn 19:25-34

Standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary of Magdala. When Jesus saw his mother and the disciple there whom he loved, he said to his mother, “Woman, behold, your son.” Then he said to the disciple, “Behold, your mother.” And from that hour the disciple took her into his home. After this, aware that everything was now finished, in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled, Jesus said, “I thirst.” There was a vessel filled with common wine. So they put a sponge soaked in wine on a sprig of hyssop and put it up to his mouth. When Jesus had taken the wine, he said, “It is finished.” And bowing his head, he handed over the spirit. Now since it was preparation day, in order that the bodies might not remain on the cross on the sabbath, for the sabbath day of that week was a solemn one, the Jews asked Pilate that their legs be broken and they be taken down. So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and then of the other one who was crucified with Jesus. But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs, but one soldier thrust his lance into his side, and immediately Blood and water flowed out.

5月24日聖人 聖陶南湘、聖洛迦湘(SS. Donatian and Rogatian)殉道 https://www.facebook.com/BonfireWorld/posts/3069487116607378

馬西米皇帝執政的時期,法國不列顛尼省有一位青年教友,名叫陶南湘,非常熱心。他有一個弟弟洛迦湘,尚未領洗。

教難發生,洛迦湘受了陶南湘善表的鼓舞,有意領洗入教。可是神職人員,四散避匿,一時無法領受洗禮。

皇帝頒詔,任何人拒絕向周比德神獻祭,應處死刑。

陶南湘和洛迦湘兄弟二人,都被捕下獄。洛迦湘唯一引為憾事的,是尚未領受洗禮。可是他準備殺身成仁,領受血洗。

兄弟二人在監獄裡共同祈禱,求上主頒賜恩寵,不致臨時變節。

他們到了法庭,坦然表示,寧死不向邪神祭獻。二人縛在絞輪上,骨節折斷,一把一把的尖刀直插入頭部,最後斬首致命。時在二八九年左右。

5.24(一)我們的母親
常年期第八週開始/童貞瑪利亞教會之母 若望福音十九25-27

(聆聽聖言)

在耶穌的十字架旁,站著祂的母親和祂母親的姊妹,還有克羅帕的妻子瑪利亞和瑪利亞瑪達肋納。
耶穌看見母親,又看見祂所愛的門徒站在旁邊,就對母親說:「女人,看,妳的兒子!」
然後又對那門徒說:「看,你的母親!」就從那時起,那門徒把她接到自己家裏。

今天是「教會之母」紀念日。瑪利亞「教會之母」的名稱是1964年教宗保祿六世在梵蒂岡第二次大公會議確立的,而在2018年,教宗方濟各進一步頒布法令,將每年聖神降臨節後的星期一,訂為「教會之母榮福童貞瑪利亞紀念日」,列入《天主教羅馬禮禮儀日曆》,以及所有彌撒和日課的禮儀本中。

法令中提到:「當代教會在反省基督的奧跡和基督的本性後……不能忽略這個女人—童貞瑪利亞—的身影(參迦四 4),她既是基督之母,也是教會之母。」

那聖母為基督、教會之母與我們有何關聯呢?其實,在今天的福音中耶穌把我們每一位看成是祂「所愛的門徒」,並在臨死前將自己的母親賜給我們,因此聖母變成我們所有人的母親。也因為有這位母親,我們不再是無助又沒有自信的孤兒,獨自在冷硬的社會掙扎、奮鬥,孤單面對生活沉重的十字架。你能回憶你生命中哪些時刻特別需要一位母親的愛嗎?聖母就是這位母親。她無條件地陪伴在我們身旁,鼓勵、照顧我們,讓我們千萬次跌倒後,再一次的爬起來。

也因為她溫柔的母性,教會世世代代以「門徒的母親」、「信友的母親」、「信者的母親」、「所有在基督內重生者的母親」種種方式稱呼瑪利亞」(參法令)。

今天讓我們再次意識到瑪利亞是我們的母親,而我們是耶穌的愛徒。你會用什麽親切的方式稱呼聖母呢?

5月24日   貧乏的耶穌 
蒙福的耶穌也是貧乏的(“貧乏”在中文聖經裡譯為“神貧”)。但是耶穌的貧乏不是經濟或社會的貧乏。耶穌貧乏,因為祂自主選擇了無能、而非權勢;選擇了脆弱,而非防禦;選擇了倚賴,而非自足。斐理伯2章6-7節的“基督頌”說得絕好:“祂雖具有天主的形體,並沒有以自己與天主同等,為應當把持不舍的,卻使自己空虛,取了奴僕的形體,與人相似,形狀也一見如人”。這是耶穌選擇活出的虛心精神。 
耶穌也呼籲蒙福的人像祂一樣,活出謙卑的精神。~ 盧雲神父
