讀經一(選民的放逐與拯救,都顯示上主對他子民的義怒與仁慈。)

恭讀編年紀下 36:14-16,19-23

那時候,所有的司祭、首長和百姓,都罪上加罪,仿效了異族所做的一切醜惡之事,污辱了上主在耶路撒冷祝聖的聖殿。上主、他們祖先的天主,由於愛惜自己的百姓和自己的居所,時常不斷派遣使者警戒他們。無奈,他們都嘲笑了天主的使者,輕視了天主的勸言,譏笑了天主的先知,致使上主的怒火,發洩在他的百姓身上,直到無法救治。

敵人焚毀了上主的殿宇,拆毀了耶路撒冷的城牆,燒了城中所有的宮殿,毀壞了城內一切珍貴的器皿;凡沒有死於刀下的人,都被擄到巴比倫去,作巴比倫王及他子孫的奴僕,直到波斯帝國興起。這樣,就應驗了上主藉耶肋米亞的口,所說的話:「為填補沒有遵守的安息年,這塊土地要一直荒涼七十年。」

波斯王居魯士元年,為應驗上主藉耶肋米亞的口,所說的話,上主感動了波斯王居魯士的心,叫他出一道號令,通告全國,說:「波斯王居魯士這樣說:上天的神:『上主』,將地上萬國交給了我,囑咐我在猶大的耶路撒冷,為他建築一座殿宇;你們中間凡做他子民的,都可以上去耶路撒冷;願他的神與他同在!」

【答】:我若不懷念你,就寧願我的舌頭,緊緊貼在我的上顎!(詠137:6)

領:當我們坐在巴比倫河畔,一想起熙雍,就淚流滿面。在河畔的楊柳間,掛起我們的豎琴。【答】

領:那些俘擄我們的,要我們唱歌;那些迫害我們的,還要我們奏樂:「快來給我們唱一首熙雍的歌!」【答】

領:但我們身處外鄉異域,怎能謳唱上主的歌曲?耶路撒冷!我如果忘記你,就願我的右手枯萎!【答】

領:我若不懷念你,不以耶路撒冷為喜樂,就寧願我的舌頭,緊緊貼在我的上顎!【答】

讀經二(你們因罪惡而喪亡,因恩寵而得救。)

恭讀聖保祿宗徒致厄弗所人書 2:4-10

弟兄姊妹們:

富於慈悲的天主,因著他愛我們的大愛,竟在我們因犯罪而喪亡的時候,使我們同基督一起生活;可見你們的得救,是由於恩寵。

天主使我們同基督一起復活,並使我們在基督耶穌內,和他一同坐在天上,為將自己無限豐富的恩寵,即他在基督耶穌內,對我們所懷有的慈惠,顯示給未來的世代。

因為你們得救是由於恩寵,藉著信德,所以得救並不是出於你們自己,而是天主的恩惠;不是出於功行,免得有人自誇。原來我們是他的化工,是在基督耶穌內受造的,為行天主所預備的各種善工,叫我們在這些善工中度日。——上主的話。

領:天主竟這樣愛了世界,甚至賜下了自己的獨生子,使凡信他的人,不至喪亡,反而獲得永生。(若3:16)

恭讀聖若望福音 3:14-21

那時候,耶穌向尼苛德摩說:「梅瑟曾在曠野裡高舉了蛇,人子也應照樣,被舉起來,使凡信的人,在他內獲得永生。」

天主竟這樣愛了世界,甚至賜下了自己的獨生子,使凡信他的人,不至喪亡,反而獲得永生。因為天主沒有派遣子到世界上來,審判世界,而是為叫世界,藉著他而獲救。那信從他的,不受審判;那不信的,已受到了審判,因為他沒有信從天主獨生子的名字。

審判就在於此:光明來到了世界,世人卻愛黑暗甚於光明,因為他們的行為是邪惡的。的確,凡作惡的,都憎惡光明,也不來接近光明,怕自己的行為暴露出來;然而履行真理的,卻來接近光明,為顯示出他的行為,是在天主內完成的。——上主的話。

In those days, all the princes of Judah, the priests, and the people added infidelity to infidelity, practicing all the abominations of the nations and polluting the LORD’s temple which he had consecrated in Jerusalem. Early and often did the LORD, the God of their fathers, send his messengers to them, for he had compassion on his people and his dwelling place. But they mocked the messengers of God, despised his warnings, and scoffed at his prophets, until the anger of the LORD against his people was so inflamed that there was no remedy. Their enemies burnt the house of God, tore down the walls of Jerusalem, set all its palaces afire, and destroyed all its precious objects. Those who escaped the sword were carried captive to Babylon, where they became servants of the king of the Chaldeans and his sons until the kingdom of the Persians came to power. All this was to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah: “Until the land has retrieved its lost sabbaths, during all the time it lies waste it shall have rest while seventy years are fulfilled.” In the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, in order to fulfill the word of the LORD spoken by Jeremiah, the LORD inspired King Cyrus of Persia to issue this proclamation throughout his kingdom, both by word of mouth and in writing: “Thus says Cyrus, king of Persia: All the kingdoms of the earth the LORD, the God of heaven, has given to me, and he has also charged me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever, therefore, among you belongs to any part of his people, let him go up, and may his God be with him!”

Let my tongue be silenced, if I ever forget you! By the streams of Babylon we sat and wept when we remembered Zion. On the aspens of that land we hung up our harps.

Reading II Eph 2:4-10

Brothers and sisters: God, who is rich in mercy, because of the great love he had for us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, brought us to life with Christ — by grace you have been saved —, raised us up with him, and seated us with him in the heavens in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not from you; it is the gift of God; it is not from works, so no one may boast. For we are his handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance, that we should live in them

Verse Before the Gospel Jn 3:16​

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so everyone who believes in him might have eternal life.

Gospel Jn 3:14​-21

Jesus said to Nicodemus: “Just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.” For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him will not be condemned, but whoever does not believe has already been condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the verdict, that the light came into the world, but people preferred darkness to light, because their works were evil. For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come toward the light, so that his works might not be exposed. But whoever lives the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be clearly seen as done in God.

聖婦瑪蒂達是撒克遜著名英雄維杜根的後裔,生於八九五年。瑪蒂達的父親是一位伯爵,聖婦自幼由愛福女修院院長撫養成人。

瑪蒂達容貎美艷,才德雙全,十四歲時,嫁給亨利公爵,婚姻生活很美滿。九一九年,日爾曼王駕崩,因無子嗣,就由亨利公爵繼任王位。

她當了皇后依然謙遜,熱心敬主,生活完全與修女相同,待人溫厚,任何人有急難,向她求助,無不有求必應。她的丈夫也是一位賢君,對她的慷慨施捨,絕不干涉。

九三六年,亨利王突然中風不治。瑪蒂達正在聖堂,為丈夫的病求主,人們來報訊,她立即將所戴珍寶除下,表示今後決心棄絕世俗。

瑪蒂達共生子女五人,長子奧督,後來繼位;三子聖伯呂諾,任高郎總主教。

瑪蒂達喪夫後,將全部珍寶捐獻,充救濟窮人的善舉。她的長子對這種慷慨施捨深表不滿,並猜疑母親有私蓄秘密收藏,故意不拿出來。幼子亨利,平日最為瑪蒂達所鍾愛,也與兄長狼狽為奸,指責母親。這段期間,瑪蒂達精神上的打擊確是非常重大,可是她逆來順受,將一切苦難獻給天主。有一次,她很幽默地說:「我的兒子給我的精神虐待,我很樂於忍受。因為我很高興,他們弟兄二人至少在對付母親時,是團結一致的。」

瑪蒂達將自己應得的遺產全部放棄,讓給她的兩個兒子,她自己則退隱故宅。但不久兩個兒子遭受一連串的不幸,亨利突患重病。國內天災人禍,紛至襲來。人們都認為這是兩子忤逆不孝的報應。奧督的妻子勸丈夫從速向母親賠罪求恕,並將母親讓出的財產還給她。

瑪蒂達後來寬恕兩個兒子,回到宮廷居住。不幸,亨利惡性未改,殘殺良民。瑪蒂達警告他,死期已至,從速悔罪改過。不久,亨利逝世,馬蒂達萬念俱灰,與現世不再有任何牽掛,一心嚮慕天國。

瑪蒂達最後一次與家人會聚,是在九六五年。那時,奧督已得了「奧督大帝」的尊號。自該時起,瑪蒂達與塵世隔絕,度隱居生活,創建了多座修院。

九六八年,瑪蒂達身患重病,自知死期已至,將家內一切器物都捐獻給教會,充作善舉。最後,臥室內只剩一塊麻布。瑪蒂達說:「把這塊布送給威廉主教,他比我先要用這塊布!」威廉主教是她的孫兒。果然,威廉主教患重病,比瑪蒂達早死十二天。瑪蒂達於九六八年三月十四日逝世,死後顯有神蹟甚多。

3.14(日)十字架的愛 四旬期第四主日(喜樂主日) 若望福音三14-21

那時候,耶穌向尼苛德摩說:
「正如梅瑟曾在曠野裏高舉了蛇,人子也應照樣被舉起來,使凡信的人,在祂內得永生。」
天主竟這樣愛了世界,甚至賜下了自己的獨生子,使凡信祂的人不至喪亡,反而獲得永生,因為天主沒有派遣子到世界上來審判世界,而是為叫世界藉著祂而獲救。
那信從祂的,不受審判;那不信的,已受了審判,因為他沒有信從天主獨生子的名字。審判就在於此:光明來到了世界,世人卻愛黑暗甚於光明,因為他們的行為是邪惡的。
的確,凡作惡的,都憎惡光明,也不來就光明,怕自己的行為彰顯出來;然而履行真理的,卻來就光明,為顯示出他的行為是在天主內完成的。

「天主竟這樣愛了世界,甚至賜下了自己的獨生子,使凡信祂的人不至喪亡,反而獲得永生……」這句聖言很有名,很多基督徒都會朗朗上口。但是,我們有沒有意識到,其實它以最精簡的方式,表達了我們信仰的核心。

今天,不要只把它當成文字,而是讓我們花點時間用心去聽、去體驗天主已經給我們付出的愛。

看看十字架上的主耶穌,你看到什麽?也許你看得太多,已經無感了。如果是這樣,就更要花點時間注視被釘在十字苦架上的耶穌。你知道你的生命、你的自由是以一個極高的代價換來的嗎?耶穌是天主的獨生子,是天主的心肝、是天主的骨肉。但爲了我們的得救,因爲我們無知犯了罪、迷了路、找不到回家的路,天主讓耶穌來到世上,引導我們、帶領我們。天主無條件、無限制的愛甚至讓耶穌被人類的罪惡凌辱、最後還讓耶穌爲我們死,以祂的生命,交換了我們的生命。你能做到這樣的犧牲嗎?拿自己最寶貴的東西去換一個破碎、不堪的東西?天主做到了,可見祂是多麼看重我們。

或許,今天你正面對的是沒有自信,懷疑自己的價值,覺得自己不夠好,沒有貢獻;或許今天你正因爲過去的一些事感到後悔和愧疚;或許你今天正面對痛苦,感到孤獨……無論怎麼樣,讓十字架上的耶穌告訴你天父對你的愛,陪伴你在你最困難的時日!

默想耶穌選擇爲你來到世上,選擇分享你的苦。

(活出聖言)

花時間凝視十字架。問耶穌祂爲什麼在那裏?並聆聽祂的回應。

(全心祈禱)

耶穌,感謝祢在我還沒有意識前,已經愛了我、給了我一切。

3月14日   人的離去帶來天主聖神 
我們不在的時候,常是天主聖神彰顯的時候。耶穌離開門徒前,說:“我去,為你們是有益的。如果我不去,‘恩保’不到你們這裡來……真理之神來時,祂要教導你們全部真理。”(若16:7,13)只有耶穌不在,祂的友人才發現祂在世的完整意義。只有祂不在,他們才完全明白祂的話語,並且經歷與祂全然的相通;只有祂不在,他們才能以信德、以望德、以愛德相聚。 
當我們確知自己是奉耶穌的名與朋友相聚,亦即耶穌借著我們顯明祂的同在,那麼,即使我們離開了,我們也能安心。因為知道主聖神會與對方同在。如此,我們或在或不在,都能成為別人的恩福。~ 盧雲神父
